CNY is just 2 days away (well, it's on 14th but the IMPORTANT DAY is the eve, when we have our reunion dinner) and i haven't even done ANY preparations for the dinner. will be taking a nap, then heading to the supermarket to pick up some oranges. wish i had time to make mini versions....but i did steal some time to make these....




although it isn't an exact replica of the ones bf's mom made for me (yea they're almost gone XD ) i am happy with how they turned out! i had to individually add detailing since the molds were unco-operative, but only managed to 'fill' 6 of these in the spare time i had.

Swiss rolls, and what should i giveaway?

i don't know if i got the shapes right, it hadn't occurred to me as i worked on them as i tried to balance out the proportions of cake to fruit to cream ratio.....however i'm glad the textures and colours worked out!

still have to give the caramel brittle a coating, and glossing up parts of the cream/fruit....


i haven't forgotten my promise about the 100th follower giveaway! thank you all for your support ^ ^ i know i say it alot but i truly mean it. knowing that people enjoy looking at my works and possibly even reading my nonsense helps XD i will assemble some items i have made that i hope some of you might enjoy, and although they might not be very professionally done, i enjoyed making them, and so watch out for the next post on what you could win!

i work slowly. 1 week, and this is all i've done. sheesh.

anyway. i'm working on making some cupcake molds available, i don't know if i should offer tart/cupcake molds as a set, or individually. they will be made out of silicone putty.

diameters of widest point from left to right:

0.8cm, 0.8cm, 0.7cm

base diameters, left to right:

0.7, 0.5, 0.5.

my cupcake liners fit the cupcakes in the middle and right perfectly. i will be making a new range available for the 'tart' on the left, and would be perfect for popular neighbourhood bakery buns too (at least, they are popular here in sg?)

what do you folks think?
